More than 80 volunteers contribute valuable service on the crisis line, on special events committees, and as members of the Board of Directors. They come from all walks of life and from neighborhoods all across our community: students, teachers, business people, and retired adults, among others.

Training for crisis line volunteers is held each summer, fall and winter. New volunteers participate in 40 hours of interactive training designed to increase their knowledge and build their skills to respond to callers who need information and support.

In 2005, volunteers contributed more than 6,141 hours - valued at $105,964 - of service to clients. The dedication of our volunteers makes possible Women's Support's positive impact on the community.
