Quilt National 2007
The world’s premier fiber art show will be back in
St. Louis in the Fall, 2007.
Since
its inception more than 25 years ago, the Quilt National exhibit
continues to be a showcase for contemporary artists who expand
the boundaries of traditional quilt-making, creating designs meant
for display on walls rather than as covers for beds.
Quilt
National originates at the Dairy Barn Southeastern Ohio Cultural
Arts Center in Athens, OH. Its first stop is in St. Louis and
then it travels the world for two years. More than 1600 entries
were juried and judged, and 80 quilts were chosen for the QN 2007
show.
